Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog -- of "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" fame -- joined Larry Wilmore's "The Nightly Show" panel to promote his 2016 Election Special on Hulu and weigh in on sexist mudslinging between the Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton camps on the trail.

Other panelists (who were given understandable short shrift) included "Nightly Show" contributors Roy Albanese and Mike Yard, and Robert Smigel.

Asked if he thinks there's any validity in charges of sexism against Hillary, Triumph said he's surprised by the backlash and figured women would like her because she dresses like a "lesbian lion tamer."

According to Triumph, however, Hillary needn't worry about female support at the polls, as she "can get thousands of women to show up anywhere as long as she texts them from Bill Clinton’s phone."

And short of endorsing the GOP's meekest golden child, Triumph went so far as to say Jeb! is "authentic," adding, "He really is that pathetic."
