A person whose official title is "spokeswoman" should have enough rhetorical savvy to know how to issue a denial

Donald Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson isn't happy about the fact that she's been implicated in the National Enquirer's story about Ted Cruz supposed sex life. Even though the Enquirer's story is likely, well, an Enquirer story, you would think that someone whose official title is "spokeswoman" would have a better response to the allegations that she was one of Cruz's mistresses than this:

That reads more like a savvy non-denial than a refutation of the claims leveled against her, and you'd think that a serious presidential candidate would have a spokeswoman who could tell the difference -- but then again, Donald Trump isn't really a serious presidential candidate, so it's not that surprising that she's as incompetent as he is dangerous.
