Clueless Pauly Shore grills Khloé Kardashian on why she "dates black dudes"

Post-fame Pauly Shore obviously fancies himself a truth-telling provocateur on matters of race and culture

Pauly Shore is living out a bizarre second act.

Witness a December 2014 episode of obscure comedy podcast "Hollywood Handbook," Shore, misinterpreting the hyper-irony of hosts Hayes Davenport and Sean Clements, became hostile. Listen:

At 36:30, he asks if he has to answer "that fucking question" about the last time he "karate-chopped someone in anger."

At 41:00, he's coerced (by a bit he doesn't understand) into saying, "I don't want to cause any riots anymore with the African-Americans in Ferguson," and, "We don't want them rioting in front of Arby's."

And, most notably, at 47:30, he calls Clements a "fucking homo" for the way he pronounces Shore's "Encino Man"-coined term, "wheeze the juice."

In a recap for Splitsider, Nathan Rabin called the episode, "a darkly fascinating jaunt through the sad haunted terrain of Pauly Shore’s melancholy brain," in which, "Shore comes off as a deluded and faintly tragicomic figure."

Fast forward 15 months and Shore's brought his brand of ambiguous racial commentary to a show I just today learned existed: "Kocktails with Khloé."

Sipping a pink drink alongside fellow guests Kendra Wilkinson ("Kendra on Top"), Trey Songz and Jillian Reed ("Awkward"), Shore asks host Khloé Kardashian why she and her sisters primarily date "black guys."

"I'm just curious," Shore says. "Because a lot of guys want to have sex with you, and they're like, Fuck, 'cause I'm not black, I can't hook up with her."

In attempting to "break down" the Kardashian sisters' respective relationships with black men, Shore asks if Khloé is still together with Lamar Odom. She's not.

"I haven't been with Lamar in years," Khloé informs him. "But do I love Lamar and do I always want the best for Lamar? One-hundred percent."

"You stopped dating Lamar, you didn't go out with a white dude, you went out with another black dude," Shore pressed. "So my question is, what's up with that?"

To find out her response, you'll have to watch the latest episode of "Kocktails with Khloé" this Wednesday at 10 p.m. (Eastern) on A&E affiliate, FYI.
