Caitlyn Jenner lights into anti-LGBTQ bigot Ted Cruz: I just used a public restroom, and "nobody got molested"

"I'm a trans woman in New York who has to take a pee," she said, before doing just that

Caitlyn Jenner's search for a Republican who could, however marginally, represent her took a turn for the better last week when Donald Trump declared that he would allow her to use the women's facilities in Trump Tower.

Yesterday, she decided to put that to the test, posting a video on Facebook of her using the facilities of her choice at Trump Tower. In the video, entitled "Bathroom Break," Jenner declared herself to be a "trans woman in New York [who] has to take a pee," and then walked into Trump International Tower.

"Last week," she said, "Donald Trump said I could take a pee anywhere in a Trump facility. I am gonna go take a pee in the ladies' room."

After she was finished using the facilities, she thanked Trump for allowing her to do so -- but she also had a message for Texas Senator Ted Cruz. "Thank you, Donald, really appreciate it. And by the way, Ted -- nobody got molested."

She was, of course, responding to Cruz's claims last week that trans women like Jenner were, essentially, sexual predators. "There is no greater evil than predators," Cruz said, "and if the law says that any man, if he chooses can enter a women's restroom, a little girl's restroom and stay there and he cannot be removed because he simply says at that moment he feels like a woman -- you're opening the door for predators."
