"Real Time" host Bill Maher last night gave his take on Donald Trump's brief but riotous visit to Costa Mesa, California, Thursday night.

"Trump has left California," Maher rejoiced at the top of the show. "You can all tell your gardeners they can come out now."

Donald Trump on Thursday night campaigned in Orange County, which, Maher said, is "like Chris Christie being in Fat City."

Orange County is, of course, home to Disneyland.

"If you thought you saw Donald Trump but it was just Mickey Mouse, here's the difference," Maher explained. "Both are comic book rodents, but Mickey has large hands."

Maher noted that both Trump and Hillary Clinton had strong showings in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic on Tuesday, extending their frontrunner status within their respective parties.

"That is your national election," he added. "On one side, a hysterical woman and on the other side, Hillary Clinton."
