Shakina Nayfack is an transgender activist, singer and actress who wants to challenge the HB2 law by taking her solo musical Manifest Pussy show to North Carolina to promote awareness and bring solace to those who are affected by the law.

And along the way, she plans to take bathroom selfies in the men's room to document how she is "obeying the law" even though she is a woman.

Nayfack plans to give all the donations from her North Carolina Rebel tour to local advocacy groups in NC who are challenging the HB2 law. She is also crowdfunding her tour and will rely on the kindness and help of others to stay in different parts of NC from June 8th to the 23rd, to perform her show at venues based in Charlotte, Fayetteville, Raleigh, Wilmington, Durham, Chapel Hill, and many more.

Watch her inspiring story here.
