"I'm sure he has his treasons": Seth Meyers doesn't know why Trump would ask Russia to hack Hillary's email server

"Late Night" host Seth Meyers on Wednesday night addressed GOP nominee Donald Trump's DNC-adjacent ramblings and tweets.

"The biggest question hanging over the DNC has been what has Donald Trump been doing while the Democrats have been holding their convention," Meyers said. "Well, he's been keeping it low-key — just relaxing, catching up on some sleep, and, of course, asking Russia to hack Hillary's private email server."

Trump held an hour-long press conference on Wednesday morning, discussing (among a dozen or so schizophrenic topics) accusations that he had somehow colluded with Russia to hack the DNC's email.

"Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing,” Trump joked, inciting a media frenzy.

He then tweeted the following:

"Not sure why Trump would openly ask Russia to spy on Americans," Meyers added. "But I'm sure he has his treasons."
