Timothy Liu's book of poems, "Vox Angelica" (Alice James Books) received the 1992 Norma Farber First Book Award from the Poetry Society of America. Two subsequent collections were published by Copper Canyon Press, "Burnt Offerings" (1995) and "Say Goodnight" (1998).
Widely published in such journals as Grand Street, The Nation, and Paris Review, Liu is also the editor of Word of Mouth: An Anthology of Gay American Poetry, forthcoming from Talisman House. He was the 1997 Holloway Lecturer at UC Berkely and currently teaches at William Patterson University in New Jersey.
