The fire safety director of World Trade Center Tower No. 2, retired firefighter Kevin Horan, was in the building when it started to collapse and barely made it out alive.

The fire safety director of World Trade Center Tower No. 2, retired firefighter Kevin Horan, was coordinating the evacuation when the building started to collapse. After seeing a firefighter killed when he was hit by a victim falling from a higher floor, Horan turned and ran. He barely made it out alive.
