Douglas Cruickshank was the co-founder of the the Fessenden Review ("The Noisiest Book Review in the Known World"), a long-dead literary journal once described by the Village Voice as "a New York Review of Books for the living." His writing has also appeared in Travel & Leisure, the San Francisco Examiner, the Sun, Frisko, Whole Earth Review, the Web and other periodicals too obscure, fleeting or embarrassing to mention. - - - - - - - - - - - -
