Haiku contest

Demonstrate your poetic prowess and win a Sony Dream System.

Audiofile Country Haiku
More free stuff: Together with Sony, Audiofile is running a contest to give away a Sony DVD Dream System, a big bundle of surround-sound home theater goodness. And what Herculean task must you perform to win? Sony is including new CDs from Sony Country artists Rodney Crowell, Patty Loveless, Jon Randall and Jace Everett -- which gave us an idea: Country music-themed haiku! That's right, a home theater system for just 17 syllables of your time.

We'll be accepting submissions (e-mail audiofile@salon.com with subject line "Country haiku") until Friday, August 5, and spotlighting our favorites over the next week before picking the winner.
