"Give All to Love" is the opening track from "White Hats," a beguiling and somewhat mystifying new album from Niobe, the German singer and electronic music artist who frequently collaborates with Mouse on Mars as a vocalist. There's some beautifully muted programming here, and on top of it a thoroughly disorienting mélange of vocals: A sultry lead, a whisper-spoken commentary and a chorus of voices that sounds almost exactly like the singers in "The Triplets of Belleville." The elements are layered in such a way that it's impossible to fully untangle the various strands, or to make out the lyrics -- but if you just give up on making sense of it and relax into the music, the effect is mesmerizing.
