Ken Burns' latest documentary, Lewis and Clark: The Journey of the Corps of Discovery (check local times, PBS), chronicles the great 1804-06 exploration of unknown territory west of the Missouri River. The two-part documentary is narrated by Hal Holbrook. It concludes Wednesday. America Undercover (10:30 p.m., HBO) presents "Calling Dr. Kevorkian: A Date with Death," a documentary look at the death doctor, his devotees, his critics and his personal quirks.

The efficiency expert forces the staff to take polygraphs on NewsRadio (8:30 p.m., NBC). Roz reveals the father of her baby on Frasier (9 p.m., NBC). Michael Hayes (9 p.m., CBS) investigates Russian mobsters who've infiltrated the fuel-oil industry. Xena (check local times, syndicated) begins a two-parter that flashes back to Xena's bad-warrior past. Dateline NBC (10 p.m., NBC) profiles a girl who had half of her brain removed as treatment for severe epilepsy.
