S E R I E S Cinque, the leader of the slave rebellion aboard La Amistad, is the subject of a new Biography (8 p.m. EST/9 PST, A&E). Very Special Episode Alert: Mad About You (8 p.m., NBC) has a commercial-free half-hour in which the Buchmans try to get their baby to go to sleep and, somehow, this is supposed to be entertaining. On the Christmas episode of NewsRadio (8:30 p.m., NBC), Jimmy agrees to hire Matthew back if somebody from the station wins a holiday talent show.
