S P E C I A L S

Jodie Foster, Richard Gere and Sally Field host AFI's 100 Years ... 100 Movies (8 p.m., CBS), a three-hour countdown of the 100 greatest American films of all time, as chosen by a panel assembled by the American Film Institute. The show features clips from the films, as well as comments from celebrities who reminisce about their top choices. The 1994 heist drama The Getaway (8 p.m., Fox), surely no one's pick to make the AFI list, airs. Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin star. Reflections on Ice: Michelle Kwan (8 p.m., ABC) features the Olympian skating to music from the upcoming Disney movie "Mulan."

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (8 p.m., WB) reruns the Valentine's Day episode where a witch's spell makes Xander suddenly irresistible to women. On a rerun of NewsRadio (8:30 p.m., NBC), Bill is promoted to news director. P.O.V. (check local times, PBS) presents "The Band," David Zeiger's documentary about a year in the life of his teenage son and his friends. On a rerun of NYPD Blue (10 p.m., ABC), the cases involve an assault on a young girl and a junkie who turns in her sons for reward money. The Real World (10 p.m., MTV) begins its seventh season. This one is set in Seattle and features two military school pals, a journalism major, a musician and a New Yorker with Lyme disease.
