Ross and Emily's sudden engagement sends Rachel into a tizzy on a rerun of Friends (8 p.m., NBC). Fox Files (9 p.m., Fox) has a segment on the anniversary of Princess Diana's death. Seinfeld (9 p.m., NBC) reruns the one where Kramer uses butter as a tanning lotion, Jerry is upstaged by Bania and George feigns a disability. ABC News Summer Thursday (9 p.m., ABC) strings together previous reports about surviving natural disasters. On a rerun of ER (10 p.m., NBC), a women's clinic bombing thrusts the docs into action. On Nightline in Prime Time (10 p.m., ABC), Ted Koppel spends 12 hours in solitary confinement. Tune in next week when Ted goes to the chair. Prince Charles and the Artist Formerly Known as Prince mix it up on Celebrity Deathmatch (10 p.m., MTV).
