S E R I E S

Biography (8 p.m. EST/9 PST, A&E) has a new profile of Annie Oakley. On Dilbert (8 p.m., UPN), Dogbert goes on a space shuttle mission and Dilbert tries to sneak the Gruntmaster 6000 prototype past evil testing engineer Bob Bastard. A fortunetelling computer predicts that Jamie will have a fling with Mark McGwire on Mad About You (8:30 p.m., NBC). Big Mac guests. Ally returns to her therapist (Tracey Ullman) for help coping with Billy's revelation that he still loves her on Ally McBeal (9 p.m., Fox). In what's becoming a recurring theme of Everybody Loves Raymond (9 p.m., CBS) this season, Raymond and Robert seek revenge on Frank for a childhood trauma. This time, it's his disturbing bedtime stories. The American Experience (check local times, PBS) presents "Meltdown at Three Mile Island," a chronicle of the March 28, 1979, accident at the Pennsylvania nuclear power plant.


S P E C I A L S

Sherry Stringfield, who walked away from both "NYPD Blue" and "ER," returns to TV in the new movie Border Line (9 p.m., NBC), which was produced by "ER" star Anthony Edwards. Stringfield plays an adoption attorney whose life is endangered when she blows the whistle on an international baby-selling racket. Elizabeth Peña and Christopher Reid co-star. The new TV movie And the Beat Goes On: The Sonny and Cher Story (9 p.m., ABC) stars Jay Underwood and Renee Faia sporting wigs and prosthetic noses as pop's original power couple. Just think -- 10 years from now, we'll be watching a sweeps biopic about Kurt and Courtney.
