Maury Povich presides over Opening the Lost Tombs: Live from Egypt (8 p.m., Fox), a debacle in the making if there ever was one. What will Maury Povich and a team of archaeologists find in the previously unexplored Tomb of the Unknown, deep within the pyramid of Khamerernebty II? Hopefully, more than Geraldo found in Al Capone's vault.


S E R I E S

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (8 p.m., WB) reruns the one where Buffy's secret harboring of Angel gets her in trouble with Giles and her friends. Also, Faith's new watcher is not what she seems. Lisa prepares to marry homeless bum Johnny Johnson (Patrick Warburton) on NewsRadio (8:30 p.m., NBC). On Spin City (9 p.m., ABC), Carter has a new boyfriend -- a closeted boxer. Felicity (9 p.m., WB) discovers that all is not well in her relationship with Noel. On Will & Grace (9:30 p.m., NBC), the roommates compete for the attention of a hunky new neighbor who might be gay, but then again, might be straight. We get a little background on the enigmatic Sorenson when his sister visits him at work on NYPD Blue (10 p.m., ABC).
