A panel of historians critiques this year's best picture nominees, "Shakespeare in Love," "Saving Private Ryan," "The Thin Red Line," "Elizabeth" and "Life Is Beautiful," for historical accuracy, realism and educational value in History's Best Pictures (10 p.m. EST/11 PST, History Channel).
On a new episode of Friends (8 p.m., NBC), Joey spies on one of Ross' neighbors and Monica worries that she and Chandler aren't having as much sex as Phoebe and her new beau (guest Michael Rapaport). Drew wins the Batmobile in a fast-food promotion on a rerun of The Drew Carey Show (9 p.m., ABC). ER (10 p.m., NBC) repeats the episode where Mare Winningham begins a (blessedly short-lived) stint as the ER chief with a secret. Also, a sleep-deprived Corday makes a fatal mistake. Celebrity Deathmatch (10 p.m., MTV) has one of its most inspired bouts: William Shakespeare vs. Busta Rhymes.
