If you think cake decorating is the purview of housewives with too much time on their hands, then you haven't met the strange denizens of Food Network's "Ace of Cakes" (10 p.m. EST). And apparently we're the last people on the planet to know about the crazy tales of eccentric cake-baking tough guy Duff Goldman and his team of oddballs, who dream up whimsical, over-the-top creations for Goldman's bakery, Charm City Cakes, in Baltimore. As the cameras roll, the Charm City crew goes to great lengths to meet customer requests, from a cake shaped like King Tut to our personal favorite, the Death Star cake. See what happens when detail-oriented rocker-geeks find their true calling?
With Sunday night's finale quickly approaching, the competition should be fierce on "Survivor: China" tonight (8 p.m. EST on CBS). Fans of the "Ultimate Fighter" series won't want to miss CNBC's profile of the sport, "Ultimate Fighting: From Blood Sport to Big Time" (10 p.m. EST on CNBC). And fans of celebrity trash won't want to miss creepy Perez Hilton dishing the whoring celebrity sea donkey highs and lows of the year in "What Perez Sez About 2007" (10 p.m. EST on VH1).
