Season after season, an old-time reality favorite manages to reinvent itself despite a chorus of naysayers announcing its demise. "Survivor: Micronesia -- Fans vs. Favorites" (8 p.m. EST on CBS, premiered last Thursday) features a ragtag assortment of longtime fans of the show and some of our favorite players from past seasons. Sadly Jonny Fairplay (aka Hippie Wrongstockings), who's always good for a wicked laugh, has already been booted off the island, thanks to a disappointing performance by his tribe of "Survivor" veterans. The star of this show so far, though, has to be "Survivor" fan Kathleen, aka "The Crazy Lady," who greeted Chet by saying, "OK, you're a homosexual!" and then blurted, "It doesn't mean, like, you wanna be a girl, right?" Welcome to Earth, strange alien friend!
Barbra Streisand won an Oscar for her role in the 1968 film "Funny Girl," which airs at 7:30 p.m. EST on TCM. The "NAACP Image Awards" air at 8 p.m. EST on Fox, Locke takes a hostage on "Lost" (9 p.m. EST on ABC), Norman Lear chats with Starbucks founder Howard Schultz on a repeat of "Iconoclasts" (9 p.m. EST on Sundance), and "Smoking Gun" features the world's dumbest criminals (9 p.m. EST on TRU TV). Later, John Fogerty appears on "Soundstage" (10 p.m. EST on PBS, check listings).
