"A Raisin in the Sun"
A three-hour made-for-TV-movie version of Lorraine Hansberry's 1959 play "A Raisin in the Sun," starring Phylicia Rashad, Sean Combs and Audra McDonald, has its world premiere at 8 p.m. EST on ABC. Rashad won the best actress Tony Award for her role in the Broadway production of "Raisin" on which this movie is based -- the first African-American actress to win a Tony in that category. McDonald and Sanaa Lathan were also recognized for their stage performances in the production. But, of course, you'll want to tune in to see how Diddy does.
E!'s Fashion Police (8 p.m. EST) run down the 2008 Oscar night fashions, "American Experience" profiles Buffalo Bill (9 p.m. EST on PBS, check listings), Laura is back to torture Paul on "In Treatment" (9:30 p.m. EST on HBO), and documentary "Ribbon of Sand" (10:30 p.m. EST on PBS, check listings) explores North Carolina's Cape Lookout.
