ABC/Adam Larkey

Call us sad and pathetic if you must, but we never ever miss the "Meet the Parents" episode of "The Bachelor," and UK Matty and his final four of "The Bachelor: London Calling" (10 p.m. EDT on ABC) will be no exception. You learn so much about these fine ladies when you see their squirming, disapproving parents in action. Our personal rule? The more the parents disapprove, the more sane the parents must be, and the more we're rooting for their trashy harlot daughter to take home the last rose.

Also…

You can learn how to make the perfect pancake on "Good Eats" (8 p.m. EDT on Food), or watch as Blair goes back to school on a new episode of "Gossip Girl" (8 p.m. on the CW). Meanwhile, '80s flashbacks galore and lots of Robin Sparkles dominate "How I Met Your Mother" (8:30 p.m. EDT on CBS) and Heidi and Lauren attempt to pretend not to hate each other on "The Hills" (10 p.m. on MTV).
