A camera catches a senator nodding off. Video

Did Sen. Conrad Burns, R-Mont., not hear about Macacagate? We don't know anything about this video, posted recently on YouTube, which purports to show the senator, another Rebublican up for reelection, wrestling with the sandman during Thursday's Senate field hearing on the farm bill, in Great Falls, Mont. But we're impressed with how Burns, after seeming to notice the camera trained on him, strains with all his might to keep his peepers open.

An alternative explanation? He's really just imitating viral video superstar Sleepy Kitty:
