S E R I E S

Legendary tap dancer Bill "Bojangles" Robinson is the subject of a new Biography (8 p.m. EST/9 PST). An intern causes more office disharmony than usual on Just Shoot Me (8:30 p.m., NBC). Kramer retires and moves to Florida on a new Seinfeld (9 p.m., NBC). Also, Elaine isn't sure of her new boyfriend's race. Mystery! (check local times, PBS) begins the two-part "The Ice House," about an elderly widow (Penny Downie) suspected of murder. Also starring Corin Redgrave. On a new Veronica's Closet (9:30 p.m., NBC), Ronnie is parodied by a drag queen on a cable-access show called "Moronica's Closet," and Yasmine Bleeth guests as a kleptomaniac supermodel. A toxic chemical spill forces an evacuation of the hospital on a new episode of ER (10 p.m., NBC).


S P E C I A L S

Computers are bad. That's the theme of the TV movie Virtual Obsession (8 p.m., ABC), a thriller starring Peter Gallagher as a computer scientist who creates an online monster. Haven't had enough Fox snuff lately? Then you won't want to miss When Stunts Go Bad 2 (9 p.m., Fox), featuring footage of stuntpeople and daredevils wiping out.

Battle of the blowhards: John Cleese will appear on two episodes of NBC's 3rd Rock from the Sun during May sweeps. He'll play a new professor at Pendleton College who challenges Dick (John Lithgow) for the affections of Mary (Jane Curtin) ... Fox has announced the renewal of Party of Five, Melrose Place and Beverly Hills, 90210 for next season ... ABC attempts ratings suicide on March 15 and 19 when it shows Kevin Costner's epic box office bomb Waterworld in two parts.
