100 Nights of 'The X-Files' (8 p.m., FX), which is airing the first 100 episodes of the series in order on weeknights, is up to episode No. 3, and it's a great one: "Squeeze," marking the first appearance of Eugene Tooms, the 100-year-old serial killer who stays fit and trim by eating human livers and can contort his body to fit into teeny, tiny spaces. On Public Eye (9 p.m., CBS), Bryant Gumbel interviews the man convicted in the 1963 kidnapping of Frank Sinatra Jr. Live from Lincoln Center (check local times, PBS) presents Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra in a program saluting great moments in jazz. American Justice (9 p.m. EDT/10 PDT, A&E) debuts the episode "Dead Woman Walking: The Karla Faye Tucker Story." Ellen (9:30 p.m., ABC) reruns the one where Anne Heche guests as Laurie's weird ex-girlfriend, whom Ellen meets while both are waiting for news of Laurie's condition following a car crash.
Fox reruns the 1997 miniseries Intensity (8 p.m., Fox), based on the Dean Koontz thriller. Molly Parker plays a woman who witnessed a multiple slaying as a child and is now victimized by the killer (played by John C. McGinley).

Bruce Springsteen is reportedly talking with HBO about an
anthology series based on his 1995 folk album "The Ghost of Tom Joad." The
series would dramatize songs from the album ... Kellie Martin, who starred
in the family series Life Goes On and Christy, as well as the
short-lived NBC drama Crisis Center, is joining the cast of
ER. She'll play a third-year medical student. Martin fills the young
female doctor void created by the departure of Maria Bello, who played Del
Amico ... It has barely opened in theaters, but ABC has reportedly
bought the broadcast rights to Armageddon for $30 million. It'll air
in May 2001.
