Beverly Hills, 90210 (8 p.m., Fox) begins its ninth season. Kelly and Brandon deal with the aftermath of their canceled wedding, and former "Melrose Place" vamp Laura Leighton joins the cast. Party of Five (9 p.m., Fox) also has its season premiere; Julia's at Stanford, Charlie's pregnant girlfriend has moved in, Claudia's on her way to prep school and Bailey and Sarah are moving in together. Bryant Gumbel interviews Francis Ford Coppola on Public Eye (9 p.m., CBS). 3rd Rock from the Sun (9:30 p.m., NBC) reruns last season's cliffhanger finale, featuring Phil Hartman as the jealous ex of Harry's girlfriend Vicki (guest Jan Hooks). 20/20 Wednesday (10 p.m., ABC) premieres; Diane Sawyer and Sam Donaldson are the anchors. Hollywood comes courting Mr. Hankey on South Park (10 p.m., Comedy Central).
