Ann-Margret has the title role in the new cable movie Life of the Party: The Pamela Harriman Story (9 p.m., Lifetime), based on Christopher Ogden's bio about the woman who married well (several times) and became a Democratic Party stalwart and U.S. ambassador to France. Followed by an Intimate Portrait (11 p.m., Lifetime) biography of Harriman, featuring footage from interviews with her and comments from those who knew her. A week-long All in the Family Marathon (9 p.m., Nick at Nite) begins with four hours of creator Norman Lear's favorite episodes from the groundbreaking sitcom.

In Search of History (8 p.m. EDT/9 PDT, History Channel) begins "Bloody Olde England Week." The nastiest rulers! The bloodiest battles! The most heinous crimes! In short, everything you already learned from watching "Monty Python's Flying Circus" reruns. Perfect Mary cuts class for the first time on 7th Heaven (8 p.m., WB).
