Scientific American Frontiers (check local times, PBS) looks at the prospects for a future manned trip to Mars. Ken Burns' documentary Frank Lloyd Wright (check local times, PBS) concludes with a trip to some of the architect's greatest works, including Fallingwater and the Johnson Wax Building.


S E R I E S

On Dawson's Creek (8 p.m., WB), hearts are broken and opportunities are seized at the homecoming dance. Dick is desperate to get back together with Mary, but first he has to dump the intensely annoying Jennifer (Laurie Metcalf) on 3rd Rock from the Sun (9 p.m., NBC). Did we mention that Jennifer speaks only in rhyme? On the 100th episode of Party of Five (9 p.m., Fox), Charlie grows frustrated with Daphne's indifference to the baby. The cops investigate the murder of an embryologist on Law & Order (10 p.m., NBC). On Chicago Hope (10 p.m., CBS), the shooting of a homeless man by police outside Hancock's clinic results in a race riot.
