Ross moves in with Chandler and Joey on Friends (8 p.m., NBC). On Frasier (9 p.m., NBC), Niles is financially ruined when Maris plays hardball in their divorce settlement. Mystery! (check local times, PBS) begins "The Life and Crimes of William Palmer," a two-part thriller based on the true story of a murderous early-19th century doctor. Keith Allen stars. On ER (10 p.m., NBC), Corday is sleep deprived after being on shift for 24 hours, Greene snaps when the paramedics try to haze him and a new candidate for E.R. chief emerges. 48 Hours (10 p.m., CBS) has a scheduled report on scientific discoveries on slowing aging.

The new TV movie Lost Souls (8 p.m., UPN) is a thriller about a family whose new home is inhabited by the spirits of murder victims. And the murderer is about to strike again! Count Floyd gives it two thumbs up. And just in case you've forgotten that it's November sweeps time, we have When Good Pets Go Bad (9 p.m., Fox), which features footage of pets and performing animals attacking their owners and trainers. And I think I speak for all of us when I say that TV doesn't show enough home videos of pit bull attacks and animal-theme-park maulings.
