S E R I E S

Hockenberry (8 p.m., MSNBC) is the new title of the nightly news discussion show from which Keith Olbermann wisely fled. That's John Hockenberry, of course, who's too sharp to brook any wall-to-wall "President in Crisis" nonsense either. We'll see how long he lasts. McDonald's founder Ray Kroc is profiled on a new Biography (8 p.m. EST/9 PST, A&E). Ray is spending a lot of time at Robert's bachelor pad on a new Everybody Loves Raymond (9 p.m., CBS).

The Billboard Music Awards (8 p.m., Fox) has a hefty list of scheduled performers, including Madonna, Hole, Lauryn Hill, Shania Twain, Semisonic, Natalie Imbruglia and Bette Midler with the Royal Crown Revue. The documentary Bobby Darin: Beyond the Song (check local listings, PBS) profiles the swingin' singer-actor whose career was cut short by heart disease. Big-band singer Monica Mancini performs the songs of her late father, Henry, in Monica Mancini ... On Record (check local listings, PBS). Tony Bennett: An All-Star Tribute Live by Request (9 p.m. EST/10 PST, A&E) finds the singer performing numbers requested by viewers, as well as celebrities like Harrison Ford, George Clooney, Sting and Cameron Diaz, who make their requests via pre-taped bits.
