Hotelier J.W. Marriott is the subject of a new Biography (8 p.m. EST/9 PST, A&E). Legends (8 p.m., VH1) profiles John Lennon in an episode that also features tracks from the new set of previously unreleased Lennon material. On The Drew Carey Show (9 p.m., ABC), Drew has a crush on an older woman at night school. Shirley Jones guests. Carey's improv comedy show Whose Line Is It Anyway? (9:30 p.m., ABC), which was a hit for ABC over the summer, returns with new episodes and regular panelists Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie, Brad Sherwood and Wayne Brady. The Law & Order (10 p.m., NBC) crew tackles a double homicide that leads to an extradition battle with Canadian officials. On Chicago Hope (10 p.m., CBS), Wilkes suffers a personal tragedy and Austin's co-workers are quizzed by a NASA official considering her for the astronaut program.

Michele Lee has the title role in Scandalous Me: The Jacqueline Susann Story (9 p.m., USA), a new cable movie bio about the flamboyant '60s icon who wrote "Valley of the Dolls." Peter Riegert plays her husband-manager, Irving Mansfield. Brian Wilson: Imagination (check local times, PBS) features the former Beach Boy performing songs from his recent album "Imagination," as well as testimonials from famous fans including Elvis Costello, Sean Lennon and Jimmy Buffett. Burt Bacharach: One Amazing Night (check local times, PBS) is a New York tribute concert that aired earlier this year on cable. Bacharach conducts his orchestra and sings "Alfie"; other performers include Dionne Warwick, Sheryl Crow, Chrissie Hynde, Elvis Costello, Wynonna and Ben Folds Five.
