The new kids' cable series So Weird (7 p.m., Disney Channel) is a comedy-thriller about a teenage girl (Cara DeLizia) who investigates paranormal phenomena while touring the country with her rock singer mom (Mackenzie Phillips). Stripper Gypsy Rose Lee is profiled on a new Biography (8 p.m. EST/9 PST, A&E). Baby Dil Pickles makes his TV debut in two new episodes of Rugrats (8 p.m., Nickelodeon). Antiques Roadshow (check local times, PBS) opens its third season with appraisals from Richmond, Va. On The King of Queens (8:30 p.m., CBS), Carrie wants Doug to be a man and chew out their neighbor for letting his dog bark all night. Ally and Butters rekindle the flame on Ally McBeal (9 p.m., Fox). A new American Experience (check local times, PBS) looks at the building of the Hoover Dam, a colossal Depression work project that took five years to build, during which 112 workers died on the job. On Everybody Loves Raymond (9 p.m., CBS), Marie is disappointed in her baby when she learns that Ray lied to her about a beer blast he threw when he was a teenager. A bonus Buffy the Vampire Slayer (9 p.m., WB) rerun has the adults of Sunnydale behaving like juvenile delinquents. If you've been wondering why Buffy's mom and Giles have been so nervous around each other lately, this episode explains it. Robin Williams guest stars on a Very Special Episode of L.A. Doctors (10 p.m., CBS). Williams plays the depressed and reclusive husband of a cancer patient. Also, Roger (Ken Olin) and his dying girlfriend (guest Patricia Wettig) make a commitment. Road Rules (10 p.m., MTV) goes to Mexico for its seventh season (!) opener.
The career-reborn Rick Schroder stars in the new TV movie What We Did That Night (9 p.m., ABC). He's a really bad guy in this psychological thriller about a group of former fraternity buddies hiding a terrible crime.
