The documentary I'll Make Me a World (check local times, PBS) continues with two more hours chronicling black artists and performers of the past century. Parts Three and Four profile Paul Robeson, Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, James Baldwin and Lorraine Hansberry, among others.


S E R I E S

The X-Files: Complete Conspiracy Marathon (8 p.m. & 11, FX) continues with Episode 72, "Talitha Cumi" (8 p.m.), in which Mulder and Scully meet the alien clone healer "Jeremiah Smith," who is being pursued by the bounty hunter. Also, Mulder discovers a connection between his mother and the Cigarette Smoking Man. The story continues in Episode 73, "Herrenvolk" (11 p.m.), in which Mulder and Scully find the bee farm and its workers (spooky clone kids), and Cancer Man aids Mulder's mother, who has suffered a stroke. Significant points: Mr. X bites the dust; icy United Nations official Marita Covarrubias becomes Mulder's new contact. Ann Landers is the subject of a new Biography (8 p.m. EST/9 PST, A&E) as Advice Givers Week continues. On King of the Hill (8 p.m., Fox), Hank unintentionally gets Khan fired from his job. Nova (check local times, PBS) presents "Surviving AIDS," about HIV infected people who appear to have a natural resistance to developing AIDS, and how their experience may help scientists find new treatments. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (8 p.m., WB) reruns the episode where Buffy challenges Cordelia for Homecoming Queen and they end up as pawns in Mr. Trick's scheme to rid Sunnydale of Slayers. Thurgood's plan to clean up the local movie theater backfires on The PJs (8:30 p.m., Fox). On NewsRadio (8:30 p.m., NBC), Matthew celebrates his 30th birthday by acting out his teen rebel fantasies. Sipowicz undergoes prostate cancer surgery on a rerun of NYPD Blue (10 p.m., ABC).
