"Homicide" is preempted again, this time for a rerun of ER (10 p.m. Fri., NBC). It's the one where Ross gets Greene to drive to California with him to see the spot where his father died. The cool sketch comedy series for kids All That (9 p.m. Sat., Nickelodeon) celebrates its 100th episode with a one-hour show featuring favorite skits (Good Burger!) and the return of some former cast members. Rock Hudson is the subject of a new Biography (8 p.m. EST/9 PST, Sun., A&E). Alec Baldwin, Kim Basinger and Ron Howard guest as themselves on a fall-down funny rerun of The Simpsons (8 p.m. Sun., Fox) in which Homer becomes Alec and Kim's personal assistant. On The X-Files (9 p.m. Sun., Fox), Mulder and Scully pose as a married couple (named Rob and Laura Petrie) to investigate some mysterious disappearances in a suburban community. This is the "Arcadia" episode that was supposed to have run on Feb. 21, but was pulled back (rumor has it) for re-shooting of special effects. Instead, we got that lame episode about the killer water and the hurricane. On The Sopranos (9 p.m. Sun., HBO), Tony and the boys take matters into their own hands when they learn of an affair between a high school girls' soccer coach and one of his players. Maybe the coach wakes up with Pele's head in his bed. On The Practice (10 p.m. Sun., ABC), Jimmy and Lindsay represent parents suing a gun manufacturer after their daughter is killed by a robber's assault weapon.
The Olympic silver medalist (she was robbed!) performs in Michelle Kwan Skates to Disney's Greatest Hits (8 p.m. Fri., ABC). Also on the bill: Elvis Stojko, Ilia Kulik and Oksana Baiul. After losing at the Golden Globes to Dylan McDermott of "The Practice," Jimmy Smits (he was robbed!) gets another chance to win something for his "NYPD Blue" swan song in The Screen Actors Guild Awards (8 p.m. EST/5 PST, Sun., TNT). The best performances of the year in TV and movies are honored, as well as the best ensemble acting. Kirk Douglas is scheduled to receive a lifetime achievement award. Richard E. Grant stars in a new version of The Scarlet Pimpernel (9 p.m. EST/10 PST, Sun., A&E), the classic story of a British aristocrat who dons a disguise to save French nobles from the guillotine during the French Revolution. Co-starring Elizabeth McGovern. The miniseries Seasons of Love (9 p.m. Sun., CBS) stars Peter Strauss and Rachel Ward as a farm couple who weather all kinds of hardship in post-Civil War Ohio. With Rip Torn and Hume Cronyn. (Concludes March 9.)
