Series

Dateline NBC (8 p.m.) looks at liberties taken with the truth in the Oscar-nominated films "The Hurricane," "The Insider," "Music of the Heart" and "Boys Don't Cry." The new sitcom Then Came You (8:30 p.m., ABC) was supposed to premiere last fall, but ABC shelved it. Unfortunately, the network is dusting it off for a spring run. This witless series about a divorcée in her 30s who falls in love with a hotel bellboy in his 20s has one "joke," the age difference thing, and every variation on it is just about exhausted in the pilot. Nobodies Susan Floyd and Thomas Newton star. On The West Wing (9 p.m., NBC), Bartlet is troubled by hate mail Zoe is receiving because she's dating a black man. Mimi wrecks St. Patrick's Day by tampering with the gang's beer on The Drew Carey Show (9 p.m., ABC). Law & Order (10 p.m., NBC) has a story about a racially charged shooting involving two police officers. 20/20 (10 p.m., ABC) turns on the hidden camera again, this time to see how many bartenders keep serving drinks to wasted patrons. Errol Morris profiles George F. Kennan, former ambassador to the Soviet Union, on First Person (10:30 p.m., Bravo).
