Series
The generation gap between the castaways widens and someone (Rudy? Stacey?) falls in on this week's Survivor (8 p.m., CBS). Biography (8 p.m., A&E) has a new profile of Scarlett O'Hara herself, Vivien Leigh. Dr. Nancy Snyderman is the correspondent for a 20/20 (10 p.m., ABC) report on alcoholism and new ways to treat it. HBO begins a 12-week run of the entire second season of The Sopranos (10 p.m., HBO). In the opener, Tony is thrown for a loop by the return of two people near and dear to him, his sister Janice and the wayward Big Pussy.
Specials
Oops! She did it again. She appeared on the cover of TV Guide lolling on a beach in short shorts and a teeny bikini top, looking more like the cover girl for Maxim than for America's favorite coaster. Yes, it's Britney in Hawaii (9 p.m., Fox), a one-hour special in which Ms. Spears sings, dances, learns the hula and loses her virginity to a dolphin. Oops, I did it again! That's supposed to be swims with a dolphin. Sorry.
