Biography (8 p.m., A&E) begins "Charlie's Angels" week with a profile of Cheryl "Kris Munroe" Ladd. On King of Queens (8 p.m., CBS), Doug buys a new truck just before his union calls for a strike. Ally organizes a girls night out and John is attracted to his new client (Marcia Cross) on Ally McBeal (9 p.m., Fox). Ray runs into a career roadblock just as Robert's star is on the rise on Everybody Loves Raymond (9 p.m., CBS). On Roswell (9 p.m., WB), Max of the future time-travels back to warn the present-day Liz about the dire consequences of their relationship.

Specials

The three-part documentary series A History of Britain (9 p.m., History Channel) chronicles 5,000 years of British history. Based on the book by Simon Schama, who also hosts. The Great Campaign of 1960 (10 p.m., PBS, check local times) looks back at the presidential race between Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy, as remembered by veteran "Washington Week in Review" moderator Paul Duke.
