Jennie Garth of "90210" is now working The Street (9 p.m., Fox); she joins the cast in Wednesday's episode. On The West Wing (9 p.m., NBC), the Russian government is trying to cover up a fire in a missile silo, and word gets out that Bartlet doesn't like green beans. Drew tries to forget his breakup with Kate by dating a relative of Mimi's on The Drew Carey Show (9 p.m., ABC). On Felicity (9 p.m., WB), Elena is questioned about her affair with her professor and Ben is worried for Felicity's safety after Molly admits she's still an addict. The detectives revisit a 1981 murder case in which the suspect was an ambassador's son on Law & Order (10 p.m., NBC).

Allison Janney and Al Roker host Christmas in Rockefeller Center (8 p.m., NBC), featuring the annual lighting of the 80-foot-tall tree and performances from Tara Lipinski, Marc Anthony, 98 Degrees, Destiny's Child and Natalie Cole and, if we're lucky, C.J. Cregg lip-syncing to "The Jackal." Michael Douglas tries to off his expensive trophy wife (Gwyneth Paltrow) in the network premiere of A Perfect Murder (9 p.m., CBS). Illusionist David Blaine has himself encased in a block of ice for 72 hours in David Blaine: Frozen in Time (10 p.m., ABC). He also makes Kevin Spacey, Michael J. Fox and Lenny Kravitz appear.
