Series

Will & Grace (9 p.m., NBC) reruns the one where Grace and Karen fight over an impressionable intern (Natasha Lyonne) and Jack is forced to confront his lesbian problem. Mystery! (9 p.m., PBS, check local times) concludes the first of two new "Touching Evil" dramas with Creegan positing a controversial theory about the identity of the serial killer. 48 Hours (10 p.m., CBS) reports on crimes committed over the Internet. Diane Sawyer interviews Dr. Jerri Nielsen, who diagnosed her own breast cancer while stationed at the South Pole, on Prime Time (10 p.m., ABC). The new series Making the TV Show (10:30 p.m., MTV) goes behind the scenes on hit series. First up: "That '70s Show." Turn Ben Stein On (11 p.m., Comedy Central) begins a new season with guest D.L. Hughley.

Specials

Those of you who just can't cope with the Alec Baldwin-Kim Basinger breakup can find comfort in a showing of The Getaway (9 p.m., USA), made in happier times back in 1994. The rest of us can find comfort in the fact that Baldwin and Basinger won't be making any more lame movies together.

Sports

Basketball:
Trail Blazers at Pacers (8 p.m., TNT)

Talk

Rosie O'Donnell (syndicated) Diane Sawyer, Denise Richards
David Letterman (CBS) Mel Gibson (rerun)
Jay Leno (NBC) Jennifer Lopez, Freddie Prinze Jr.
Politically Incorrect (ABC) Bob Costas, Denyce Graves
Conan O'Brien (NBC) Noah Wyle (rerun)

All times Eastern unless noted.
