GOP senator issues challenge

 Hagel: "If we don't debate this -- we are not worthy of our country; we fail our country."

Jan. 26, 2007 | On Wednesday, Chuck Hagel, the only GOP senator who has called to end the war in Iraq, spoke passionately against sending in more troops. "This is a ping-pong game with American lives," said Hagel, a Vietnam vet. Now, the Washington Post reports Hagel is considering a presidential run.
