Now, I suppose it's possible that a film titled Abducted Girl: An American Sex Slave, and made by a guy responsible for films like Warning!!! Pedophile Released and Amateur Porn Star Killer -- not to mention star of such classics as Caged Lesbos A-Go-Go and Vaginal Holocaust (tagline: "Rape, Revenge, Hicks, Vampires and a Man-Eating Vagina!") -- will treat the subject matter with respect and sensitivity. But I'm thinking it's not likely. I'm thinking, in fact, that this is the very definition of "exploitative." And I'm thinking that Shane Ryan might just be the very definition of douchebag. But neither of those words paints the full picture, because what I really think about it is: There are no words.
Dugard family spokesperson Nancy Seltzer had a few, though: "exploitive, hurtful and breathtakingly unkind." I guess that's a start.
