Thanks to Shakespeare's Sister for pointing us to an pro-abstinence billboard in Iowa that encourages women to "wait for the 'bling'" before making white-hot love to their partners. Shakespeare's Sister points out the hilarity of an abstinence program using the word "bling" and wonders if the message is that once you're engaged it's OK to get busy.
Personally, I just like the image of the ring being slipped on a finger -- a gesture that is also universally used by junior high schoolers to indicate coitus.
