A grand jury returned an indictment today charging a third Duke lacrosse player with rape, the Associated Press reports.

David Evans, a senior and team captain from Bethesda, Md., has been indicted on charges of forcible rape, kidnapping and sexual offense. Two other Duke students, sophomores Reade Seligmann and Collin Finnerty, were indicted on similar charges last month following allegations in March by a 27-year-old black woman that she was raped and beaten by three white men after being hired to dance at an off-campus house.

Evans, 23, lived at the house where the attacks allegedly occurred, reports the AP. On Saturday, the AP also reported that defense attorneys had announced that a second round of DNA tests showed "no conclusive match" between the accuser and any Duke University lacrosse players.
