Plane "incident" at Birmingham, U.K., airport

Police say at least two are injured; firetrucks surround a small aircraft

British police say at least two people have been hurt in an "incident" involving a plane at Birmingham Airport in central England.

Eyewitness Lorraine Parker told Sky News that a small aircraft was surrounded by fire engines at the edge of the runway and appeared to have crashed on approach.

Weather in the area was foggy Friday.

West Midlands Police said they were at the scene and had no further details.

The airport said all arriving and departing flights had been suspended and the runway closed.
