Bahraini police violently raid girls' schools

Al Jazeera interview a 16-year-old girl who was beaten as a part of a bloody crackdown

Despite efforts from the Bahraini authorities to keep out international media, Al Jazeera reporters were able to gain access to the Gulf kingdom.

Bahraini police have reportedly made routine raids on girls' schools, "detaining, beating and threatening to rape girls as young as 12." This video shows an interview with a 16-year-old school girl sharing her experience of a brutal police raid on her school:
