Reports: Allen to concede Virginia Senate race

 The Democrats will take control.

Nov. 09, 2006 | The inevitable is about to become official: MSNBC and the National Journal are reporting that Virginia Sen. George Allen will concede to Jim Webb at 3 p.m. today, thereby handing control of the U.S. Senate to the Democratic Party.
