Fitzgerald: Don't expect more indictments

The prosecutor suggests that Libby's indictment will be the end of his investigation.

Mar. 06, 2007 | In his closing argument before the jury that convicted Scooter Libby, special counsel Patrick Fitzgerald said that there is a "cloud" over the vice president and the White House, but he just made it clear that he has no plans to try to pierce it.

Pressed by reporters gathered outside the courthouse, Fitzgerald says that his investigation into the outing of Plame was "inactive" when Libby's trial began and that he does not expect any further indictments to come out of it now.
