  • The Wall Street Journal had a photograph on the front page today of Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan playing softball. You know. Nothing that untoward about this, unless of course you know the tale of how Rupert Murdoch's hand-picked editor likes to use the front page to tell gay jokes about people.
  • This is America's most important new television show.
  • And this is the best campaign ad of the day. Did you know that Alabama Republican Bradley Byrne once suggested that evolution should be taught to children? He'll never win anything.
  • Bob Bennett refuses to promise that he won't run as a write-in candidate. But he probably won't.
  • Marc Ambinder is reading Michelle Obama's Obesity Report.
