Paul dismisses supporter's Perry sex ad as "silly"

Fox asks the libertarian congressman about the "Have you ever had sex with Rick Perry?" ad

Here's a coda to the story of the Ron Paul supporter who placed a newspaper ad seeking people who have had sex with Rick Perry.

Robert Morrow, an Austin-based Paul backer and self-employed investor, bought the ad in the local alt weekly last week. He opposes Perry on policy grounds (he calls the Texas governor a neocon and a crony capitalist) but also because he believes Perry is a family values hypocrite. The one problem: There's no evidence that Perry has had affairs, as Morrow alleges.

Paul was actually asked about the ad on Fox on Friday. Not only does he dismiss the whole matter as "silly," he actually attacks Fox for elevating the story:
